Animal Pain Awareness Month

Our pets suffer from pain just like we do, and it often comes from similar events: surgical pain, arthritis and torn ligaments, for example. Fortunately, there's an equal number of ways to treat their pain beyond drugs. Physical rehabilitation, acupuncture, laser therapy, and therapeutic massage have become popular over the years.

The International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM) has announced September as Animal Pain Awareness Month. It's a good time to look at a few supplements that might lessen injury and prevent pain altogether.
