Instinct is the only raw pet food brand that is SQF (Safe Quality Food) Certified in both Quality and Food Safety. This requires tedious 3rd party testing ~ not only on the finished products you purchase, but also on its facilities. This certification is not required in the pet food industry, but Instinct goes above and beyond to make sure what you'll be feeding your pet is the highest quality.
Instinct is also the only raw food brand that has a Board-Certified Pet Nutritionist as a full-time employee who helps to formulate its recipes and make sure the food meets OPTIMAL nutritional requirements, not minimal.
Instinct owns and operates its own facilities, where it has complete control of its HPP (High Pressure Pasteurization) Process and Freeze-Drying process. The company recently built a "Center of Excellence" from which it ensures the safety and quality from all of its suppliers.
