Recipes mimic how an animal would consume food in the wild, containing bones, organ meats, and raw food. This combination is known as BARF or Biologically Appropriate Raw Food.
Every product in the Primal Pet Foods lineup is produced using the highest quality ingredients: All proteins are USDA certified and free of antibiotics, steroids, and added hormones. Recipes include certified organic produce and unrefined vitamins & minerals (never any synthetic supplements). Primal is committed to sourcing their ingredients exclusively from vendors who humanely raise, sustainably grow, and responsibly process the ingredients in their products.
Primal utilizes High Pressure Processing (HPP) for their high-risk poultry products to increase safety (Duck, Quail, Turkey, Chicken). HPP is an FDA- and USDA-approved cold water pressure process for targeting salmonella and other food-borne pathogens. According to the company, their "proprietary low pressure, short hold time, and cold water temperature allow for enzymes, vitamins, proteins, and lactic acid bacteria to stay intact". HPP is not necessary and never used for Primal’s edible-grade red meats (Rabbit, Venison, Pork, Beef, Lamb, Buffalo).
Jake's is proud to stock and deliver Primal freeze-dried and frozen bases (Pronto), Nuggets, and Patties for dogs and cats. JFor added nutrition, Jake's also stocks and delivers Primal toppers, Primal Elixers, Primal Bone Broth, Primal Goat Milk, Primal Treats, and Primal Raw Bones.
Our own trusted and screened drivers bring Primal from our store in Lake Worth (Wellington border) to your door in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Wellington, West Palm Beach, and all Palm Beach County. You don't need to be home to accept your delivery, unless you are receiving of Primal frozen pet foods.
