As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine unfolds, our founders, Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta are closely following the devastating news. Along with the rest of the world, the graphic footage has us all in shock; our hearts go out to the brave people of Ukraine!
We asked ourselves, “How can we help our colleagues in animal welfare who have stayed behind to care for pets and animals living at shelters and rescues in Ukraine and those that are evacuating to neighboring countries?”
Today, Danny & Ron’s Rescue has started our UKRAINE ANIMAL RELIEF EFFORT.
We are already establishing connections with legitimate animal welfare charities and private individuals working in rescue, who are assisting directly with relief efforts for animal shelters and rescues in Ukraine and for those that are evacuating.
We are also confirming legitimate routes for cash donations to be delivered directly into the hands of organizations, private individuals, and rescuers on the ground. We will regularly UPDATE our donors with information on how and where these funds are delivered!
